BESCO is placing a call for Journeyman/wireman @ CLA Rates $33.00/hr. , $8.70/H&W, $10.07/Retirement. (Shop Call) Must be able to pass drug testing, background screening, Fit for Duty physical for employment AND need to be able to badge at both ORNL and Y-12. Please advise the candidate that employment could be delayed a week while waiting for the general access badging process to be approved by Y-12/ORNL. We will be working 4/10’s with occasional 5/10’s Start date dependent on Y12 badging schedule. You must have a valid driver's license & Social Security Cards. 12-JW(11/10/2025)

-Dayshift call for Inside Journeyman Wireman/Welder, working 4-10's , with some overtime available. Hire in date: 12/15/2025(must be drug screened by 12/08/2025 to make hire in date) (drug screen is set up near your location, you do not have to be in Tennessee until hire in date) -Location: Y-12 Department of Energy (DOE) National Weapons Complex in Oak Ridge, TN $40.00 per hour, plus $5.00/hr. Welder incentive $10.07 per hour put into retirement (defined contribution) $8.70 per hour put into insurance -Incentive - $10 (if you live within 50 miles of jobsite)/$99 per day (if you live over 50 miles away from the jobsite, must provide copy of lease, mortgage payment, or real estate tax record AND a supporting utility bill ((water, gas, power)) in the same address to qualify for incentive) -MUST be a US CITIZEN per Department of Energy requirements due to National Security, naturalization papers are required if born in another country -Must have a certified birth certificate (original with raised seal, cannot be torn or creased, or a certified copy from a state agency, or current passport - There is no way around this requirement. If it is not the correct copy of your birth certificate, or if its not legible, they WILL NOT hire you in. No exceptions. -The name on your drivers license and birth certificate must match. If you have had a name change (normally applicable to females) you must show documentation of this change. Example: You were married and have a different last name from your birth certificate, you would need to provide your marriage certificate reflecting the new name. 1-JW to work with us at the TX-1 Fabrication Facility in Oak Ridge. NECA Rate - $34.14/hr., $8.70 -H&W, $9.53/Retirement. We need them to start asap. They will come to our Knoxville office at 1800 N. Central St. Knoxville Tn.37917, for new hire orientation. They will be working 5-8 hour days for 40 hours a week 7:00am through 3:30pm.
